Our courses are designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of dental nursing, and we offer two different options to suit your needs. For those looking for an apprenticeship, we partner with Tempdent to offer a course that includes coursework, webinars, and assessments. The course lasts about two years on average, but you can finish it at your own pace. You'll also have the opportunity to attend math and English lessons to help you meet the GCSE score minimum requirement. As a trainee dental nurse, you'll get hands-on experience in dental surgeries and learn all about decontamination procedures. At the end of the course, you'll receive a City and Guilds certificate.

  Alternatively, you can opt for our National Diploma course through DNA (Dental Nurse Academy). With this course, you'll complete a Record of Experience (ROE), where you'll answer questions related to your day-to-day work in dental surgeries and decontamination procedures. You'll then have assignments monitored by your manager or dentist before submitting them to your tutor. After completing the ROE, you'll take a mock test and practice questionnaire before sitting a written and practical exam. This course usually takes between 9-12 months. Upon completion, you'll receive a NEBDN certificate.
